ASSIST Ltd. was registered on 21.01.2001 as a private Bulgarian company. The company was born at the same time when the owners invested in own facility with offices in blvd. Evropa 176, Sofia - the capital of Bulgaria. The driving force was the idea of a technology transfer for assembly and production of sectional garage doors with a special software and huge stock of all panels and accessories. This became possible with the Canadian technology and know-how of Richards Wilcox who has history and experience since 1912.

The General Manager of the company is Mrs. Dorina Dobreva.

The name of the company ASSIST was created by Mr. Miroslav Dobrev - co-owner and Vice-president of the company. Main idea for the name came from "Automatic Systems", "Assistance as technical help"

The product range of ASSIST includes: Automatic entrance doors, Automatic operators for doors and gates, Automatic garage doors, Automatic barriers and parking-systems.   The philosophy of our success is based on careful selection of suppliers and partners, high quality of our products, professional sales team, qualified and efficient production,  installation and service team.  

Very interesting fact is that recently we found in Wikipedia some quite curious and special information about the first letters of the name of our company:  

The letters "AS" and the new LOGO hide some interesting information:   „AS" comes from latin  aes и and means copper coin from the times of the Roman empire.   The double face engraved on these coins belongs to the God Janus  - symbol of January/this is the month when ASSIST was found, exactly on 21st January/. GOD Janus, according to the Roman mythology, is the God keeper of DOORS and GATES, symbol of the Beginning and the End.
